Introduction:

This higher programme is designed to equip professional nurses with all the knowledge and skills necessary for the highly competitive selection processes within the NHS against any other candidate. Studying this program, students will acquire:

  • English communication skills for the job of a nurse in the National Health Service covering key areas of nursing whose training includes the preparing for the IELTS examination (the only valid language certification and mandatory under the new legislation in force since January 18, 2016 for non-UK healthcare professionals). As an added value to the course, different NHS professionals will provide a seminar to guide students on the role of nursing in the National Health Service and expose various topics on the daily work as a nurse in the UK.
  • Theoretical and practical knowledge of the codes and standards in the nursing practice within the National Health Service. Training covers all areas required for that purpose regarding with the ethical and procedural framework within the profession of nursing and to be aware of rights and obligations. All this from a practical approach including clinical cases guided by experienced NHS Nurses.
  • Comprehensive knowledge and tools necessary for the preparation and management of all administrative work and procedures for accessing the NHS hospitals as a nurse. Additionally, students are trained in different areas, becoming the best candidates: preparation of CV, knowledge of the NHS structure and interview preparation, interview role-plays are included in order to be ready for the real one.
  • Then, ESEMED guarantees the inclusion of the students in recruitment processes for available positions.

The ESEMED Managing Director shall present the Higher School of Medical Studies and collaborating institutions related to the employment of nurses trained in ESEMED. The Program Director will explain the content, objectives and course methodology, and then there will be time for questions. Thereupon, all attendees are invited to farewell cocktail.
